Panthers Gain 2nd Place

Panthers scored an emphatic victory against Greenies to ensure second place in the Women Cricket League on Sunday. Inclement weather or not the ladies took to the John A Cumber School ground and played an exciting match. Panthers led by Molly Ann Moore limited Greenies to 149 runs for 3 wickets. Greenies captain Carmel Harms continued her outstanding form this season scoring 57 runs. Not to be out done, Panthers leading batter Wyvonne Forbes scored 47n.o and Captain Molly Ann Moore with some lofty hitting made 34n.o. Panthers won by 8 wickets.

All local matches are suspended for this coming weekend. The Cayman Masters will be hosts to the Jamaica Masters on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Masters’ matches are scheduled for Smith Road Oval.
