Cayman Islands umpires are definitely moving up. Livingston Bailey is the latest official to join the list. He has been appointed to officiate at the ICC Americas region U/19 Championships Division 2 scheduled for Buenos Aires, Argentina from February 21^st to 27^th. Cayman Islands Cricket President Courtney Myles was loud in praise of our umpires. He said “it is indication of the dedication and high levels of officiating that our umpires are recognized regionally and internationally. The association wishes Mr. Bailey all success in his endeavors.” Included on the umpires’ list are Courtney Young, Hubert Smythe, Kenneth Miller and Chab Samaroo who recently returned from Bahamas having officiated at the ICC Americas Region Division 2 tournament.
