Cayman selects young team for ICC Americas Championships

Cayman Islands Cricket Association is pleased to announce the selection of the senior to participate in the ICC Americas Championship. The tournament is scheduled for May 26th to June 9th in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Prison C.C. began round of Division 1 matches with a convincing win against Greenies 1 at the Smith Road Oval. Batting first Greenies 1 was limited to 183 runs with Craig Scott 38, Ian Rotsey 31 and the consistent Michael Reid 31.

Bovell Shines in ALL STARS Match

Ryan Bovell produced an excellent all round display in the Cayman Islands Cricket Association ALL STARS Match held on Sunday at the Jimmy Powell Oval. This was the first match of its kind and players who performed creditably in five rounds of Division 1 action this year were on display. A full house of spectators including Acting Director of Sports Colin Anglin, Jimmy Powell and CICA President Courtney Myles enjoyed the day’s action.
