Island Heritage Stingrays crowned themselves double champions in the Women League yesterday at the John A Cumber School ground. In front of an appreciative crowd of supporters which included Island Heritage representative Monique Bush, national and local men cricketers, Stingrays led by Beverly Watson defeated Greenies in the T/20 tournament. |

Two wickets in the first two balls bowled by Carmel Harms were the perfect start to Greenies Women defense of a reachable total of 105 runs. Panthers never recovered and were bowled out sending Greenies to the Women T/20 final against League champions Island Heritage Stingrays. |

BY RITE ENDS LEAGUE ON WINNING NOTE

Two half centuries from Vincent Ebanks 58n.o and Ramon Sealy 57 could not prevent By Rite from closing their league season on a winning note. Batting first By Rite scored 244 runs with excellent contributions from Michael Wight 48, Omar Bryan 33n.o and captain Conroy Wright 30. |

Police C.C. pulled off the biggest victory of the Division 1 season by defeating front runner By Rite at the Jimmy Powell Oval. By Rite scored 216 runs with various batsmen getting starts but they were unable to capitalize and take control. |
