The Executive Committee shall be empowered to appoint at its first meeting in a new term the following Standing Committees:-

  • 12.05 - Youth Development Committee
    • The Youth Development Committee shall comprise five (5) members, not necessarily members of the Association. The Committee shall be responsible for all levels of Youth Development. The Executive Committee shall name the Chairman.


The Executive Committee shall be empowered to appoint at its first meeting in a new term the following Standing Committees:- If any member of the Association shall die, resign or be disqualified from membership, the organization which he represents on the Association shall be requested to fill the vacancy except as provided Article 5.06. The new appointee shall retain his membership for so long as the vacating member would have retained the same if no vacancy had occurred.


The Association’s Year shall commence on the 1st August of any year and expire on the 31st July of the following year, but the members of the Association shall continue in office until their successors are appointed.


The Accounts of the Association shall be made at least once in every year to the 31st July. If an Auditor is appointed in accordance with Article 16 below then such accounts shall be examined and the correctness of the Revenue and Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet ascertained by the Auditor(s) as hereinafter provided.


An Auditor or Auditors shall be appointed annually at the Annual General Meeting provided that no member of the Association may be appointed as the Auditor. The Association shall fill any vacancy on the office of the Auditor.


The Association shall be empowered from time to time to formulate, adopt and amend rules governing cricket competitions in the Cayman Islands, promoted or sanctioned by the Association with such variation as to any particular competition as the Association may think expedient or necessary and the decision of the Association shall be final.


The business transacted at meetings of the Association shall be valid notwithstanding the failure for any cause of the organizations represented thereon to elect/appoint their representatives in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution and Rules.


The decisions of the Association, Committee and duly appointed sub-committees on all matters within their authority shall be final and binding on all persons affected thereby.


Gender to read the word {he} or such masculine term shall also be read as {she} or such feminine term.


Any member having any addition, alteration or amendments to propose to the Constitution and Rules of Association must forward the same in writing to the Secretary at least one month prior to the meeting at which he proposes to move such addition, alteration or amendment.
The Secretary shall give due notice thereof to the members, which shall not be less than two weeks before the date of the meeting.
No addition, alteration or amendment to the Constitution and Rules of Association shall be made unless the same shall be proposed at a duly constituted meeting of the Association and carried by a vote of at least two-thirds of the members present and voting.
