• 3.01 - Ordinary Membership (continued)
    • (iii) Two (2) persons nominated by the Executive Committee of the Association in the first meeting of the Executive Committee after the Annual General Meeting.
    • (iv) Two (2) persons nominated by the Ministry of Sports.
    • (v) One (1) member of the Cayman Islands Cricket Umpires Association elected annually by the said Association.
    • A Patron.
    • One (1) person nominated by the Primary Schools League.
    • One (1) person nominated by the Secondary Schools League.
    • One (1) person nominated by an affiliate association to be approved by the Executive Committee.
    • One (1) person per District Committee – (1) North Side, (2) Central, (3) George Town and (4) West Bay.
  • 3.02 - The Officers of the Executive Committee as defined in Article 4 below shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Association. They shall not necessarily be elected from members of the Association. They shall hold office until the termination of the meeting at which their successors are elected. Outgoing Officers shall be eligible for re-election.
  • 3.03 - Only ordinary members shall be entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting or any General Meeting. If a cricket club accepted by the Executive Committee of the Association under Article 3.01 (ii) does not pay its annual membership fee in accordance with Article 3.06 below, then its nominated members of the Association shall not be entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting.
  • 3.04 - In the event that a member nominated under Article 3.03 (III) is elected as a member of the Executive Committee he shall be reconfirmed as a Nominated Member at the first meeting of the Executive after the Annual General Meeting.
  • 3.05 - The Governor of the Cayman Islands shall be invited to be Patron of the Association.
  • 3.06 - All cricket clubs in the Cayman Islands accepted by the Executive Committee under Article 3.01 (ii) shall pay an annual membership fee of CI$____, payable on or before 1st August in any financial year. Such fee may be revised at any General Meeting.
  • 3.07 - Honorary Membership
    • Honorary membership may comprise Honorary Membership simplicitor or Honorary Life Membership.
    • Honorary Membership shall be elected from persons who have made outstanding contributions to the development of cricket in the Cayman Islands and the West Indies.
    • Honorary Life Membership shall be offered to persons who have given long, meritorious and outstanding service to cricket in the Cayman Islands either as administrators and/or players.
    • Honorary and Honorary Life members shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Association on recommendations of the Executive Committee. They shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of a member except the right to vote. Their membership can be withdrawn only after due consideration and by two-thirds majority vote at a General Meeting for gross violation of the Constitution or for conduct which would bring the Association and/or cricket to disrepute.
