
Cricket Update
CLICO Cayman 20/20 competitions are heading for another season of exciting finishes in both divisions. After some thrills and last over wins in determining who has mastered the art of the shortest format of the game, this weekend will feature those who have survived.
Saturday 28th February – Smith Road Oval
In the CLICO Cayman Division 2, the action begins at 12.00pm with Greenies Too challenging Pro Plus for the 3rd place followed by new team ESSO Cubs who will challenge Paramount DTA in the Final. ESSO Cubs featuring upcoming young Caymanian players Ricardo Roach, Omar Willis, Kervin Ebanks and Ramon Sealy will test their skills against the surprise package Paramount DTA. Under Leon Watson’s leadership and spinner Dwayne O’Connor spinning webs around, Paramount DTA has come out with a new vision for 2009.
Sunday 1st March – Smith Road Oval
CLICO Cayman Division 1 semi finals are on featuring LIME Schools versus Greenies 1 and By Rite against ESSO Tigers. Matches will begin at 11.00am
Cayman Masters Cricket Club will be using the opportunity to raise funds for their upcoming tour to Jamaica. Come out and enjoy good cricket and support the Masters!
